Introducing the Downtown Hospitality Group
The Downtown Hospitality Group was founded by Providence small business owners who saw an opportunity for collaboration. Since the summer of 2020, this team of dedicated community organizers has been hard at work for the Providence business community at large. Read below to learn more about the group's three standing committees:
Our community outreach team is the face of the Downtown Hospitality Group. Committee members build relationships with business owners, get to understand their wants and needs, and bring those into the core of our operation. They also work to keep partners in the loop with local goings on.
Our advocacy team seeks to make a better business experience in Providence by relaying community concerns to government decision makers. Committee members seek and maintain close relationships with any government entity that can positively affect the business experience, including municipal, state, and federal government.
The development team seeks out new projects and partnerships that can make the Providence business experience unforgettable. Committee members focus their efforts on solving community problems and pursuing DHG organizational goals.
